In Karachi & Lahore many feminists groups on 8th March organized “Aurat March” to celebrate Women’s Day but their slogans and demands became a topic of fun on social media. One playcard ‘Khud Khana Garam Karlo’ became viral on social media on which people reacted sarcastically.
As soon as pictures of this poster made their way online, the backlash was immense. Popular Facebook pages took offense to the post and crafted memes mocking desi feminism and women in general.
I would like suggest to do some research on Aurat March.
So, to this guy character-assassinating the woman carrying the now infamous ‘khana’ poster, grow up!
We WEREN’T prepared for is how one little poster about food — one poster among the hundreds of posters carried at these aurat marches — would transform a vast number of Pakistani men into emotional wrecks.
And finally there are sane men too.
Waisay to be honest, seeing most of you men lose your shit over “khud khana garam krlo” is saddening.
If you can’t even heat your own food, the fuck can you even do in life?
Bahir mulk ja kr rehnay ka shauq hai or khana tk garam nai krsktay.

Sadly, there are few.
While the Aurat March was concerned about issues OTHER than dinner.
